Who Is Making an Impact in Fall HS Sevens?
We're taking a quick look around the Boys HS 7s scene this fall.
As fans know, different regions address 7s differently. Some play 7s somewhat recreationally, some have a very defined season with a championship at the end, and some don't play at all.

NAI 7s Set to Kick Off This Week
The NAI 7s kicks off Friday with a few changes and some wrinkles.
Last year's event was marred by some significant trouble surrounding the U14 competitions, and it was a cose-run thing whether U14s would even return. As it turned out, the U14 brackets are invitation only now, with some closer vetting going on for those teams.
Bring the Players in and Mix Them Up! Snake Pit Sevens
High school-age teams are playing 7s in various tournaments around the country this summer, and here's a really interesting one.
This past weekend, the Lutherville-Timonium Vipers hosted Snake Pit Sevens in Baltimore, Md. Teams registered, and then their rosters were reassigned to six different motley snake-themed teams.
Pendelton Repeats as Greer Christmas 7s Champion
Pendleton took the Greer Christmas 7s in Greer, SC, going 6-0 throughout the weekend.
An experienced Pendleton side heavy with seniors showcased a strong defense, allowing more than one try in only one of their six games.
Championship, All-Star Tournaments Wrap CIRA Fall Sevens
Summit HS won the CIRA Girls HS 7s last week, going 4-0 in the final tournament and giving up exactly one try through the day.
Summit beat Regis Jesuit 35-0, Monarch 33-0, Denver East 33-5 in the semifinal, and their own 2nd side, the Summit Tigers, 36-0 in the final. The Tigers got to the final with wins over Eagle Valley, Denver East, and a close one of Monarch.
