Raptor Rugby Takes Control in Tennessee Final
Raptor Rugby won the Tennessee boys HS championship in fairly emphatic fashion Saturday, defeating 901 out of Memphis 41-10.
There is a fairly strong rivalry between the two and both teams had each other circled on their schedule.
Lindenwood Tournament Key Kickoff For Several MW Teams
Teams in the Midwest took advantage of the annual Lindenwood Tournament over the weekend to get a good multi-game kick-start to the season.
"It was a good tournament, and we had the opportunity to get some time for a lot of guys," said St. Thomas Aquinas Head Coach Tim Kluempers.
901 Holds Off Raptor to Win Tennessee
The Tennessee State Championship went to 901 this past weekend after the Memphis-area team held off Raptor Rugby 24-22.
These two teams were meeting up for the second time in two years and also faced off in the fall, 2022 7s final.
Pendleton Logs Impressive Win in Tennessee
Pendleton Rugby's tour to Memphis and New Orleans began with a very good showing over the weekend.
The Indiana HS club defeated #13-ranked 901 (formerly Germantown) out of Tennessee 29-5.
Lindenwood Tournament: Who Showed Well
The Lindenwood Tournament in St. Charles, Mo. provided an excellent buildup weekend for teams in the middle of the country.
