GRR: Tours
Minnesota's Eagan High School boys rugby team recently finished up with an overseas tour of Wales, Scotland, and England to begin their upcoming 15s season.
The boys began the tour playing games against St Peters, Llanishen, Fishguard, and finally finishing with Bilton School. Eagan began their tour in Wales and finished their tour in Rugby England at the Old Laurentians RFC.
St. Ignatius of Ohio is on tour in France, and finished the trip with a 3-0 record.
Ignatius began the trip with a 29-10 victory to Sporting Club Universitaire de France. It was a smart and savvy SC Universitaire team, and Ignatius struggled with some laws interpretations. As a result, penalties hurt them, and they saw little ball, but managed to make it work when they got it.

Queensland has already named their squad for the 14th.
Summer might be a time to take a break from rugby, but it’s also a really good time to plan a tour for the coming HS season.
For Gonzaga HS, touring overseas has become a habit, and while getting out of the country every year may not be in a HS team’s budget, players and coaches say if you can do it, it’s worth it.
