GRR: Texas State
Baylor continued its run of strong results this past weekend with a 29-20 defeat of Texas State.
The win makes Baylor 4-0, and the Bears have some momentum as they go into a key Red River contest with Oklahoma this coming weekend.
While the Southwest Conference is a shadow of its former self, down to two teams and two games, there still has to be a winner.

The University of North Texas won the Southwest Conference title Saturday, beating Texas State in San Marcos, Texas.
Texas is finally getting some representation at the women’s DII college national championship. The state routinely sends a team to the DI Round of 16, while the DII league has rallied around participation. In 2015, the Lonestar conference is supplying Texas State to the opening round of playoffs, where it will play UC Riverside in Albuquerque, N.M.
