The Santa Monica Dolphins continued their unbeaten run by thumping Belmont Shore 52-0 this weekend in Southern California boys HS play.
Belmont came into his game having finishing 2nd in the Santa Clarita Kickoff tournament and a decisive win over Empire in the league, but the Dolphins came into the game having just won the Fullerton Tournament and looking to go 4-0 in SoCal.
The Santa Monica Dolphins won the Fullerton Invitational Sunday, capping the two-day tournament with an 18-0 defeat of CK McClatchy out of Northern California.
On Day One, Santa Monica won their bracket by defeating San Diego Aztecs 33-14, Belmont Shore 19-0, and Prince of Wales School 26-5.
After a two-game trip to Seattle, the San Diego Mustangs raced back to Southern California where they hosted Prince of Wales Secondary School in Vancouver.
In a tough, hard-hitting game, Santa Monica beat Los Angeles 25-12.
LA came into the game unbeaten, having defeated Empire 31-15 the week before, while Santa Monica had won the Santa Clarita tournament two weeks earlier.
