GRR: Southern California
This is a weekend of crowning champions in high school rugby, and here is the latest:
Jesuit defeated Danville to win the Northern California Premier League. Danville scored a penalty goal early in the game, but then the first half was all Jesuit.
After playing five rugby games and 230 minutes of rugby over the weekend, the San Diego Mustangs and Coastal Dragons still had a playoff game to play.
The playoffs are set in the Southern California HS Club boys league.
South Bay and Back Bay won via forfeit, as did the Irvine Rhinos.
What's happening around the country in Boys HS Rugby? Time for a nationwide rundown:
Belmont Shore U18s defeated Back May 31-21 in a meeting of undefeated teams in Southern California.
