Gaels Look for Double Under Coach Reavey
St. Mary’s has been just two weeks removed from playing in the DIA 15s final, but this week they will look to pull off a championship double with the USA Rugby Collegiate 7s Championships in Denver, Colo.
First Women College 7s Ranking
2015 was the first season that necessitated a separate women’s 7s ranking, as programs have really embraced the spring 7s model. Additionally, since tournaments aren’t separated by division but rather “competitive” and “open,” DI and DII colleges (and one small college) are funneled into one list.

Montana St Readies for New Challenge
There are a few debutantes at this year’s Women’s College 7s Championship. The competition welcomes west coast additions UC Davis and Humboldt, which were both spring 15s playoff teams, as well as Rutgers, which represents one of two teams located north of the Mason Dixon line.
CRC Pools Finalized
The USA 7s CRC invitational has confirmed its pools for the May 29-31 tournament to be held at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.
Defending champs Cal joins Pool A with Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, and Boston College.
