Eagles 7s Prepare for Next Battle
Going into Dubai and Cape Town, USA Men’s 7s Head Coach Mike Friday said his team was “undercooked,” meaning he would have liked some more time with them before the start of the season.
They didn’t look so undercooked, though, beating New Zealand twice and taking 3rd in the opening tournament, an event that has often been a tough one for the Eagles.

CHULA VISTA, Calif. – The USA Men's 7s team has been named for the Sevens World Series stops in Wellington, New Zealand and Sydney, Australia.
USA Falcons 4th in Mar Del Plata
The USA men’s 7s program sent a team to Mar Del Plata in Argentina to compete in the American Sevens, and the Falcons placed 4th, losing to Chile 17-7 in the bronze medal match.
Argentina defeated South Africa in the final.
