Women D1 Elite
Top-ranked Lindenwood will visit Central Washington Saturday in a clash of possibly the two best women's college teams active right now.
Lindenwood is the #1-ranked team according to Goff Rugby Report and there's not much doubt about that.
Well it's still early days with the D1 Elite rankings.
This coming weekend we may well see three games that have a bearing on how the rankings move from now on.
Life University was originally slated to play Penn State, but Penn State has not been able to take the field, and that's a shame because Penn State would have certainly enhanced this group.
In the only major women's college rugby game of the weekend, the Central Washington University Wildcats improved to 3-0 with a 26-8 defeat of BYU in Provo.
It was a snow-covered field in Provo that welcomed the teams this morning, but BYU got going shoveling the snow off and they played the game.
