Excitement all-around in the Northern California single-school league as we had four games this past weekend.
Jesuit vs St. IgnatiusJesuit held off St. Ignatius 29-26 in a dramatic one. Coming off a nice win on Week 1, St. Ignatius got three tries from No. 8 Flynn O'Connell and gave thr Marauders trouble.
De La Salle and the San Mateo Wolverines won their respective Northern California league championships over the weekend.
De La Salle capped off their NorCal season with a dominant 55-10 win over a very good SFGG team.
Marin, De La Salle, and SFGG lead the way in Northern California’s Premier Varsity league after the weekend, with Marin at 5-0, and the other two teams at 4-1.
In a clash of two of the strongest teams in Northern California, De La Salle (GRR #2 School Team) defeated Granite Bay (GRR #9 HS Club).
Shawnigan Lake visited De La Salle Monday night, with the Northern Californians taking a 20-3 decision over the storied team from British Columbia.
