Arizona State University is bringing back The Rugby Bowl, an annual event centered around a major ASU game.
Last year, ASU welcomed BYU to Scottsdale, Ariz., and this year the The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl will be held April 18 at Scottsdale Stadium, with an expected crowd of more than 7,000 and coverage from the PAC 12 network.
Arizona State (2-0) now leads the Pacific Mountain South after its 40-5 win over in-state rival Arizona (0-2). It was the only game to occur in the DI women’s college conference last weekend, as UC San Diego (1-0) and UC Santa Barbara (0-1) postponed their match.
The opening kickoff of Arizona State’s game against St. Mary’s didn’t go ten meters, and from that ensuing midfield scrum, the Gaels scored a brilliant try, making for a distressing opening minute for the Sun Devils.
St. Mary's v Arizona State will be live-streamed from Moraga, Calif. today, Saturday, Jan 17.
