High School Boys
As we said last week, the past weekend was a time for games with ramifications for Nationals seedings, but it was more than that, with state leagues coming to a climax and teams making comebacks.
Here's who performed well this week:
Rugby Colorado is marching toward its playoffs.
Boys were we close to pushing St. Ignatius to #1 after the Wildcats beat Gonzaga, and, frankly, we don't have an especially compelling reason why we didn't.
Pelham HS improved to 3-1 in New York with a convincing 86-14 defeat of the Harvey School.
The field of teams for the Boys HS National Championships has finally been settled after a few shifts because of pullouts.
Most of the changes have been in the Single-School team bracket, as COVID restrictions, injuries, and the shifting landscape have all had their influence.
