Pendleton Opens Account With Win at St. Xavier
An early Midwest cross-border matchup saw 2024 Indiana state winners Pendleton beat 2024 Ohio state finalists St. Xavier 40-8 Saturday in the opener for both teams.
It was difficult weather-wise and early days for both but the teams overcame the weather to put together some good moments of rugby.
Pendleton Rolls to Midwest Title Pendleton defeated St. Ignatius in the final of the Midwest Championships Sunday, taking the game 25-21 to cap off a 3-0 weekend. While it is fair to say this was not a completely full-strength St. Ignatius team—no seniors due to prom weekend—this was still a very good showing from the Arabians of Indiana.
