Not too many surprises in Men's D2 college action this weekend.
Virginia beat Hampden-Sydney 77-15, which was a very different result from the first time these two teams faced off. Two weeks ago these two teams tied, but UVA fielded a less experienced lineup for that game.
Loyola and Northwestern both won in the Great Midwest to move to 4-0.
Loyola won big over Illinois-Chicago, taking the game 62-10.
For Northwestern, they took on University Chicago, a team that lost to Loyola by a single point.
So how would the Wildcats fair?
It was almost as close, with Northwestern edging Chicago 14-12.

Grand Valley State remains in solid form after their 57-5 defeat of one of their perennial rivals, Central Michigan.

Northern Iowa remains the top dog in the Great Midwest after a 38-12 defeat of Marquette Saturday.
While this may seem like a fairly big win for UNI, this was as close a game as Northern Iowa has had this year.
