While Central Florida, University of Virginia, UC San Diego, UC Davis, and Washington State hold the top seeds of their conferences, they are very aware that this weekend's DI Collegiate Women's Round of 8 will consist of the most challenging competition yet.

Pacific Mountain Competes for Place in Round of 8

Tomorrow, University of Washington (North #2), Chico State (West #2), UC Berkeley (West #3), UCSD (South #1), UCLA (South #2), Washington State (North #1), Arizona State (South #3), and UC Davis (West #1) will be competing in the Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference playoffs and a place in the national Women's DI Spring Quarterfinals.

WSU Holds Off Cal

Washington State is onto the next round of Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference playoffs, having defeated Cal 37-22 today in Palo Alto, Calif. The win is essentially a berth into the spring Round of 16 and Sunday’s game against Stanford will determine where the Cougars fall in the lineup.

Cougars Push CWU in Season-Ender

Washington State will take the second North seed to the Pacific Mountain Conference championship (March 28-29), and Saturday’s game against Central Washington proved that the Cougars deserve it. Even though the Wildcats prevailed 31-19, WSU rounded out its regular season with a playoff-worthy performance.

Oregon Grinds Out Win vs WSU

A nice race has developed in the Pacific Mountain Conference’s North division. Central Washington has established itself as the title favorite, but Washington State and Oregon are now embattled in a neck-and-neck for second. And there’s plenty at stake.
