Final Four Journey Four Months in the Making
Making the DII Women's National Spring Final Four is no small feat, especially if you're Salisbury, Tulane, Southern California, or Humboldt State. Each of these teams not only clawed their way through the normal resistance of competition, retention of numbers, injury, and exhaustion, but they also handily took the win from their oppositions on April 10 during the Round of 16.
NSCRO Names All-Stars
Following an exciting weekend at the 2015 Women's National Championship held at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte, NC (read more), NSCRO President Stephen Cohen and NSCRO Women's Commissioner Bryn Chivers presented several awards to individual players, as well as announced the 2015 All-Championship Team.
Moorhead Tops NSCRO
The 2015 NSCRO Women’s National Championship was held on Dec. 5-6 at the Rugby Athletic Center in Charlotte, NC. The partnership with the RAC provided NSCRO with the opportunity to host the event in a facility fitting of a National Championship.
HS Club Championships Seek Coaches' Input
The Girls High School National Invitational Championship (NIC) will award two titles in 2016 and going forward: one to a single-school champion, and one to a club champion. Two weeks ago, the single schools announced their intentions regarding 2016 nationals (read more), and now the NIC Club Committee is releasing details about its event.
Girls HS Championships Split
The National High School Girls Invitational Championship is following the boys’ lead, and dividing along club and single-school lines for 2016. The effort is being driven by Divine Savior Holy Angels coach John Klein and Catholic Memorial coach John Waliszewski, who are founding members of the invitational’s management group, the National Girls Coaches Committee (NGCC).
