In heavy rains in. Bordeaux the Americans playing in the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament, the Atlantic Coast team beat Sydney University 15-13 in the opening game for both teams.
In two days the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament kicks off, and there’s an American team in it.
Assembled and overseen by Thomas Clark and coached by Ed Tubridy, the Atlantic Coast All-Stars features a team made up mostly of recently-graduated players with their work most decidedly cut out for them.
The Atlantic Coast All Star team is set for the World University Rugby Invitational Tournament slated for this month in Bordeaux, France.
The Ohio Aviators select program U23s is set to play the Pittsburgh Forge Saturday.
This is the beginning of a summer of activities for the Aviators program which will also have a U19 boys team and has other U23 action planned next month.
