High School Boys
Some good cross-border games are coming up and Woodlands is taking a trip to the Heartland to play the KC Jr. Blues and St. Thomas Aquinas.
Now that applications for Boys HS Nationals are in, now we get to evaluate what teams that we think applied to the tournament are able to do. We're pretty sure the Woodlands trip involves a team are two that fits into that category.
Some significant changes in the HS Top 50 despite the fact that many teams are yet to take the field.
Most of the Florida teams are bunched together because the results basically keep them close ... for now. Boca vs Tampa this weekend tells us a lot.
As we moved around the ranked teams we had to put Los Alamitos higher.
Remember that Los Al's ranking was in the 20s because their top result was a close loss, and good wins over some other teams we weren't sure should be ranked.
So they were waiting for that big victory ... which they got.
The Kansas City Jr. Blues faced off with St. Martin’s Kingfishers this past weekend in Fort Scott, Kans. and this game ended with a solid win for Kingfishers.
The Eastside Lions wrapped up a quick two-game tour of Arizona with victories over both Red Mountain and Tempe.
The Lions beat Red Mountain 29-0 Friday night, scoring four tries and posting a clean scoresheet.
On Saturday, Tempe was a tough nut to crack for a while but Eastside led 12-0 at halftime.
