High School Boys
In a game that was postponed to Monday due to weather, #2 school team Gonzaga defeated #5 HS club team Fort Hunt 48-7.
Fort Hunt Head Coach Dale Roach was pretty clear on how that game went. “They were very good in every phase of the game,” said Roach. “When we made mistakes they made us pay.”
It was early days still for both teams but Gonzaga has a lot of the pieces.
Vienna took on both the Clayton Rugby Club and Raleigh Redhawks over the weekend, although it all didn't quite go as expected.
Vienna did well, and beat both teams, but because of heavy winter weather in North Carolina early in the weekend, Raleigh's home pitch was closed, forcing a change in that game from Saturday to Sunday.

De La Salle put an emphatic finish on the California school competition with a 52-24 defeat of Torrey Pines in the final held at the Saint Mary's College stadium.
