Elite 7s
The Premier Rugby Sevens professional 7s competition held its first event October 9 with an intense weekend of action with the Loonies taking the women's competition and an overtime penalty kick shootout deciding the men's final.

The North American Lions are back on the field and will compete in the Dubai 7s U19 International competition December 2-4 in the United Arab Emirates.
Rhinos Rugby Academy won three separate brackets in the NAI 7s, two select sides we haven't really seen before won, and at was also a tournament for existing clubs that wanted to perform at this all-star stage.
Here's a rundown:
The NAI 7s is set for this coming week in Salt Lake City with 75 men's and boys' teams, and 44 girls teams in eight brackets.
This tournament, having taken 2020 off because of COVID, is back with a vengeance even with the Canadian teams unable to come.
