Arizona State University is bringing back The Rugby Bowl, an annual event centered around a major ASU game.

Last year, ASU welcomed BYU to Scottsdale, Ariz., and this year the The Mercedes-Benz of Scottsdale Rugby Bowl will be held April 18 at Scottsdale Stadium, with an expected crowd of more than 7,000 and coverage from the PAC 12 network.

Notre Dame College Director of Rugby Brian McCue has noticed the school and his players that he will be stepping down at the end of the 15s season in May. 

McCue notified his players last week and also sent a letter to NDC Athletic Director Scott Swain in which he outlined frustration at the lack of funding for the team.

Central Florida capped off a seven-game conference winning streak Saturday with a 57-12 defeat of South Florida Saturday, ending their regular seas at 7-1 and in 1st place in the South Independent Rugby Conference South Division.

(Cal Rugby report) Vancouver, BC – Jake Anderson kicked a 25-meter penalty with no time remaining to give the Golden Bears an epic 23-21 victory over British Columbia on Sunday at Thunderbird Stadium.

The University of Michigan Wolverines growled their way to a 7s victory in Dayton, Ohio, winning all four games at the Dayton 7s to take the cup.

Led by some excellent work out wide by Sequoyah Burke-Combs and with captain Zach Burns keeping the team together, Michigan defeated Michigan State 24-10, Kent State 36-0, and University of Dayton 30-7.
