Woodlands ran through a 19-1 season to win the Rugby Texas girls championship this past weekend, defeating rivals North Texas for the title.
Capping off the Rugby Texas season was a multi-tiered affair, but in the end we have what we knew already—there are at least six very strong teams in the state, and most aren’t separated by much.
Rugby Texas started its season in February when many thought we wouldn’t even play.
On Saturday, May 15, the Austin Huns are hosting the 2021 Rugby Texas Boys Varsity Championship Tournament at their 4107 Nixon Lane fields in Austin, Texas.
This tournament is for all varsity boys teams.
The Dallas Reds will be hosting a Girls tournament at the same time.
