GRR: USA Rugby
BOULDER, Colo. (USA Rugby Release) – The USA Men's Eagles will welcome two more international opponents to the United States this June, hosting tests in San Jose, Calif., and Sacramento as part of the 2016 Summer Series.
One of the greatest aspects about rugby is that it breaks all gender barriers. Regardless if it’s for a men’s or women’s team, the rules, field size, and ball size are the same. Men and women with different experience levels and body weights and sizes are able to compete freely in the rugby world.
USA Rugby CEO Nigel Melville will step down from his position at the end of 2016.
St. Mary's retains the #1 ranking in USA Rugby's D1A Rugby rankings as voted on by a panel of coaches and journalists.
The Gaels kept their ranking thanks in part to a defeat of Lindenwood, which stays at #3.
Here's the top 5 (previous week's ranking in parentheses):
1) Saint Mary’s (1)
2) Life (2)
3) Lindenwood (3)
4) Indiana (4)
5) Utah (5)
