GRR: Rugby Pennsylvania

Cumberland Valley had all sorts of problems with Rugby Pennsylvania rivals COnestoga and needed a last-second penalty goal from flyhalf Alex Spenceley to win Sunday's game 18-17.

This game was a rematch of the 2014 state semifinal won by Cumberland Valley. Both teams entered the match undefeated in league play.

West Shore United hosted the Warwick Swarm Sunday at Borough Park in New Cumberland, Pa. The conditions were perfect for Rugby with temperatures around 50 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

The RugbyPa HS season is finally moving along as several teams saw action this past weekend.

West Shore United started the season missing all-state hooker Alex Katherman due to an injury, but that didn't stop them from putting the Chambersburg Trojans to the sword in the Club Gold Division.
