GRR: Germantown
Rugby Oklahoma’s Bixby Rugby produced some notable results in a small tournament in Germantown, Tenn. over the weekend.
Bixby defeated Christian Brothers HS out of the Memphis area 41-19 and Father Ryan out of the Nashville area 21-7.
But perhaps the biggest result was a 15-13 defeat of Germantown, secured on the last play of the game.

It was a successful weekend for Germantown as the Tennessee HS team traveled to Little Rock, Ark. to play the Junior Stormers and also the Kansas City Jr Blues.
In what was the first game of the season for both Germantown and KC, while the Stormers had already pitched up in a loss to Bixby.
Tennessee’s Germantown HS team capped off a three-game tour of Louisiana with three victories.
On Saturday, Germantown defeated Brother Martin 57-10 and the Bayou Hurricanes (ranked #22 among HS Clubs by GRR) 59-19.
On Sunday, Germantown beat Jesuit of New Orleans (ranked #46 by GRR among single-school teams) 50-7.
The 2018 Tennessee Boys Cup final at the campus of MTSU in Murfreesboro, TN saw the top two teams from the playoff stages square up against each other; Germantown Mustangs from the West and Harpeth Harlequins from Middle Tennessee.
