The 2022 High School Boys Tennessee State Rugby Final pitted two nationally-ranked clubs who took on all comers this season locking horns in a dramatic final.

Germantown tied Jesuit New Orleans 24-24, beat Brother Martin 28-12. Their B side lost 25-14 to St. Paul.

Having graduated several senior starters, Germantown (ranked #50 among HS Clubs by GRR) was facing a key test for young players including sophomore flyhalf George Vezina and three freshman starters in flankers Owen Wright and Garret Hagan, and fullback Ryan Winfrey.
Harlequin Rugby defeated Germantown 30-22 to win the Tennessee Rugby HS Boys final.
Phoenix Alpharetta defeated Germantown 31-18 Saturday in a game that provided a good test for both teams.
Germantown, ranked #15, started its best side and took a 15-0 lead into the break. They then ran in their 2nd, and Phoenix ran away with the second half.
