Most of these rankings don't change very much this week so we're going to focus on two teams.
Mount St. Mary’s pulled off an impressive result on a trip to Grand Canyon, defeating the ‘Lopes 46-31 in Arizona Saturday.
This follows on from a very competitive loss to Navy two weeks ago.
Central Washington defeated UCLA 38-19 in a D1A non-conference game that went a long way toward confirming CWU as one of the top teams in the West.
CWU got four tries from wing Oscar Treacy, who added to that tally with a very good defensive game, as well.
It was a good day for Treacy as he has been battling injuries.
In the wake of a couple of pretty division-shaking games, we have perhaps a slightly muted slate of games this week.
D1AHaving said that, there are some contests to watch. The big, big one is UCLA at Central Washington. The Bruins' win over Arizona wasn't an easy one, but it was a win. And they take on a CWU team that has been in a few dogfights themselves.
Central Washington pulled off an impressive win over BYU on Saturday, taking down the Cougars 21-12.
It was a windy day and CWU played into the wind in the first half. That, of course, favored BYU to a certain extent, but the wind normally benefits teams that kick and BYU loves to run.
