The National All Star Competition (NASC) has lured 203 senior, collegiate, and U20 women to James Madison University through Saturday, June 6. USA Rugby will release the attendees, who will be divided into four senior, two collegiate, and two U20 teams for a two-game series within each respective age grade.

The Pacific Mountain Rugby Conference has named its 1st and 2nd All Conference teams, as well as Honorable Mentions. The conference is composed of three DI divisions - North, West, South - and the players were chosen after a heated PMRC playoff weekend at Stanford. The conference will hold an all-star camp and games in June.

The Selects rugby touring program has named its players to compete in the Las Vegas Invitational. 

The Selects will field two teams in the Men's Elite 7s, two teams in the Men's Aces 7s, and three teams in the Men's Open 7s. The players are recruited from military teams, clubs, and colleges around the country, with some of the military players coming from overseas.

The big test this summer for a huge group of young women rugby players came with trips to Canada. The Midwest U23 Thunderbirds took a U23 and U20 team to Mosquito Heaven, otherwise known as Brandon, Manitoba. There the T-Birds U20s played four shortened games over two days.

The Midwest women’s age-grade select sides, the Thunderbirds, are right in the middle of a trip to the Canadian prairie.

The Thunderbirds U20s defeated Manitoba U18s 67-0 and Saskatchewan U18s 41-0 in shortened games on Saturday. The U23s will face the Prairie National Women’s League team later on Saturday. Then they do it all over again on Sunday.
