NEW YORK – The Varsity Cup has released the brackets for its 2017 playoff today, Feb. 22.
Fourteen well-regarded college teams will compete in a four-weekend playoffs. Two teams - the top finishers from 2016 that remain in the competition - will get a bye.
The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association, the league of NCAA Varsity women's college rugby teams, has named its All American list for the 2016-17 season.
Thirty-one athletes were chosen from the 14 college teams competing in NIRA, with another 12 making honorable mention. Here is the list:

In one of the higher-ranked clashes of the early part of this spring DI college season, Central Washington defeated Lindenwood 21-3 19-3 in St. Charles, Mo. Saturday night.
Central Washington defeated Lindenwood-Belleville 45-12 Thursday night in Illinois in the first of a two-game Midwest trip for the CWU Wildcats.
Central Washington opens up its inter-collegiate 15s schedule Thursday with a game at Lindenwood-Belleville, and will follow that up with a face-off with Lindenwood St. Charles on Saturday night.
