GRR: Rankings
Well we took a few weeks off from these rankings because the games were so few and far between that one game was unlikely to change much.
As it was, we still didn't get much in the way of games even by waiting. And we were waiting for a big upset to shift teams around, but we didn't get that, either.
The loss Royal Irish suffered in the Midwest tournament was only a two-point loss in a 50-minute game to a well-regarded opponent; that's the sort of result that we have a hard time using as justification to drop a team down.
It remains a mixed up and somewhat confused school-support team rankings, as some teams are just starting, some are stuck playing in leagues without playing out-of-state, making it very difficult to just where they stand against everyone else.
This was a very weird HS Club Rankings week.
While the top six remain unchanged because they all performed as expected, and perhaps even a bit better than expected, the rest of the Top 50 got a shakeup for a number of reasons:
1. Teams that have been idle a relatively long time lose traction.
This week sees massive changes in the Boys School rankings.
First of all, we've got to acknowledge that a couple of teams we'd been ranking as school teams are actually clubs and we're moving them over —Layton Christian and St. Charles Prep. We know, the names indicate they are single-school teams, but they're not.
