USA Rugby has announced that rugby activities in the United States will continue to be suspended through the month of May.
In an announcement released today, USA Rugby said, in part: "The welfare of our rugby community and social contribution to limiting the effect of the virus remains first priority, as we hope everyone is remaining healthy and safe."
Former USA U19 rugby player and longtime Dallas Reds star Kelly Kolberg has taken a stand against his employer on behalf of his coworkers at Dallas Fort Worth Airport to improve working conditions and worker safety, and has lost his job in the fallout.
Today, March 19, 2020, Major League Rugby announced that it is canceling the remainder of the 2020 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Old Glory is continuing its community outreach with several events this weekend in the DC area.
There will be Youth Clinics at West Potomac HS on Sunday, Feb 23 at 9am (hosted by Fort Hunt), at Cavalier Lacrosse Park Noon (hosted by Loudoun Rugby), and Albert Einstein School (at 3PM) (hosted by Bethesda).
These youth events will be free to all participants.
