Three Selected for Nelson College Scholarship for 2026
The US Rugby Foundation has announced that three high school student-athletes have received Nelson College Rugby Scholarships.
This is the fourth year of the Nelson College scholarship program, with high school boys from the USA studying and developing their rugby at Nelson college in New Zealand.
This year's recipients are:

All Blacks vs Springboks Coming to Baltimore in September
As part of the ingoing series of dress rehearsals for the 2031 Rugby World Cup, the New Zealand All Blacks and the South African Springboks will face off this year in Baltimore, Md.
This rivalry has a four-match series every four years, and 2026 is the time. The teams will play their 4th match in the USA.
Crusaders Coaching Course About Connection, Standards, and Being Part of the Rugby Family
The Crusaders Global Coaching Course will be held May 18-29 in Christchurch, NZ, and there are still spots available.
This course, which costs about $2,500 (US) for the two-week coaching experience, will bring coaches in to work with Crusaders Global coaches, immerse in the culture of Crusaders Rugby, and elevate their coaching.
Shane Young Faces a Big Job at US Rugby Foundation
In its search for a new CEO, the US Rugby Foundation could have found a longtime rugby person who is part of the fraternity of former international players, or administrators, but they didn’t go that way.
Instead they selected 36-year-old Shane Young, whose main contribution to the game has been developing and growing the Memphis Inner City Rugby program.
