High School Girls
Majestics capped off a brilliant season with a 42-19 defeat of Sacramento to win the Girls HS Club National Championships Saturday at Warren Wilson College in North Carolina.
The Utah team beat the Charlotte Cardinals 36-3 in the semis while Sac PAL edged United 13-12.
United beat Charlotte 31-15 to take third.
The four semifinalists in the Girls HS Club National Championships are confirmed after Day One action at Warren Wilson College.
SacPAL, Majestics, United, and the Charlotte Cardinals all went 2-0 on Day One. The Majestics were the most dominant, not allowing a point in their two games. The Sac PAL Amazons allowed just the one try.

Warren Wilson College is hosting the 2023 Girls HS Club National Championships this weekend.
Action kicks off on Friday, May 19 with pool play—teams play shortened games—and will conclude with the semis and finals played on Saturday, May 20.
Twelve teams from six states are in action this weekend. They are divided into four pools, with each team playing two pool games.
The schedule for the Girls HS Single-School National Championships is set.
Slated to be held at the Wisconsin Rugby Complex in Cottage Grove, Wisc., May 20-21, the tournament will feature two shortened games on Saturday and one 60-minute game on Sunday.
QuarterfinalsGrandville (Mich.) will play City Honors (NY) in a play-in match to set up the quarterfinals.
Texas Nuclear Thunder defeated Woodlands over the weekend to take the Texas girls state title.
TNT opened the season losing to Woodlands, but felt they were slowly inching closer to the defending champions. They won over Woodlands in their second meeting, and their third, before capping it off with a state championship.
