This was a tough week to do the rankings because the tournaments give us so much data we have to spend time working through it all.

Ultimately we don't have a lot of changes at the very top.

But in the 20s we do with the Lindenwood tournament showing that those teams are all quite close, but that there are a couple bubbling to the top. Those would be Notre Dame de la Salette and also St. Thomas Aquinas.

The buzz at Carolina Ruggerfest was definitely about the new high school boys team from Atlanta with the distinctive green and purple alien themed kit.

Before we get into what’s going on with Atlanta Youth Rugby and its newest team from the club's new president – we had to ask what the inspiration for the new team look was.

The Carolina Ruggerfest saw HS boys teams in six different brackets, with 23 teams involved.

This group included several teams ranked by GRR and provided a stern test for North Carolina clubs that were just reforming after the school leagues wrapped up two weeks ago.

The Lindenwood tournament once again turned out a solid series of early-season games for teams in the middle of the country.

When all nine varsity games were done, St. Thomas Aquinas had logged two impressive victories, KC Jr. Blues and Notre Dame de La Salette split their games, Archbishop Moeller lost twice but had their moments, Bixby was competitive, and SLUH showed well.
