Boys HS Club Top 50 2024: Week 9
This was a tough week to do the rankings because the tournaments give us so much data we have to spend time working through it all.
In the end we feel pretty good about it. Seven teams enter the Top 50 (which also means seven drop out). All of the teams that dropped out have chances to move up. For example, Morris drops out due to a close loss to Neuqua, which moves into #49; that's not a lot to drop a team out, and so Morris could easily overcome that.
Westside Black Swarm's good showing in a loss vs St. Thomas Aquinas moves them up. The Raleigh Rattlesnakes move up 15 spots. Camas moves up five spots and are poised potentially to move up much further.
Should the Charlotte Cardinals be #1? Maybe. They looked really, really good at Ruggerfest.
Notable games coming up: Vienna vs Gonzaga; Pendleton vs St. Ignatius; Granite Bay vs Marin; Camas vs Chuckanut; Berks vs Aspetuck.
