High School Boys
We are wrapping up the Boys HS season with our final rankings.
Here below is the final Top 50 for High School club teams. We had a few games following the HS National Championships, most of these being championship and playoff games. In the end, we have very little to change near the top. The teams in the top 30 or so did what was expected of them and we end up not moving anyone.
Belmont HS defeated BC High 20-7 to take the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) Boys D1 championship over the weekend.
In a tight, physical clash, Belmont would not trail at any time, but it took some times, and some smart decision-making to take control of the game.
Eagle Impact Rugby Academy is set to travel to Spain to play the Spanish U18s at the end of June in a rematch of a trip EIRA took a year ago.
Program Director Salty Thompson is taking 26 players, mostly from high school but also a smattering of college players, to assemble in Valladolid in Northwest Spain.
Saturday sees the Massachusetts IAA finals held at Curry College in Milton, Mass.
Three champions will be crowned with Belmont HS taking on Lincoln-Sudbury in the girls final and Weymouth facing Hanover in the Boys D2.

Phoenix Alpharetta Rugby and Georgia Youth Rugby Association has announced that Erik Saxon has been elected President effective immediately.
