Olympus and Layton Christian remain atop the Utah Youth Rugby boys fall 7s list after the second weekend of action.
LCA beat Kearns 45-7 and Herriman 21-12 but dropped a 27-19 decision to East HS.
That was East's first win over the fall as they skipped the opening tournament and they lost to Herriman and Olympus in a rough opening list of games.
LaSalle College High School defeated Berks to take the first Rugby Pennsylvania boys 7s tournament of the fall.
Both Berks and LaSalle were undefeated going into the final.
"We certainly made plenty of mistakes," said LaSalle Head Coach Jessica Nedzwecky, "but we can only continue to improve throughout the season, as we did with each game on Sunday."
The Boys High School National Championships committee has announced the dates for the 2023 tournament.
Normally held in the middle of May, the 2023 tournament will be moved one week later to May 25 through May 27, which is Thursday through Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend.

The email was notable because it’s actually a relatively rare thing. Dues levels at the State Rugby Organization (SRO) level are rarely publicized in this way, and it’s a nice example of a SRO engaging in transparency.

Just Four Weeks Left to Submit 2022-2023 College Scholarship Applications
High School seniors who will be heading to college in the fall and will be playing rugby there still have time to receive one of the US Rugby Foundation College Scholarships.
Four weeks remain until the deadline.
