Indiana’s Pendleton, the #10-ranked HS Club, defeated School-team #4 St. Ignatius Saturday in Obetz, Ohio Saturday.
What a massive weekend.
Well over 100 boys HS teams are playing and at least 17 games in which both competitors are ranked makes this a pretty big weekend.

Woodlands shut out Strake Jesuit 27-0 Thursday night in Rugby Texas action.
The teams actually played three games, with Woodlands JV winning 52-7, and their D2 teams playing a bit of battle that saw the teams enter halftime tied 0-0. Woodlands ended up holding off Strake in that one 19-12.
Gonzaga defeated Vienna 31-7 Thursday night in a non-conference game between the defending single-school national champion and the HS National Championship Tier 2 winner.
It was a game where Gonzaga did not start all of the players who start on a regular basis, but they did start some of them, and put in a very strong XV against a Vienna team that had much to prove.
St. Thomas Aquinas defeated St. Martin's Kingfishers in an almighty all-Kansas midweek clash Wednesday night.
Over and above the game, we now have a bona-fide rivalry. Kingfishers has been building and in fact beat Aquinas for the Kansas state championship last year. Of course, that's just one year, and if you want a rivalry, you need staying power.
