Okapi remains atop the Florida HS league and by a fairly convincing margin after their 27-7 defeat fo Tampa.
While Tampa battled, Okapi held a lead throughout their game to move to 4-0.
Okapi ed 22-0 in the first half and controlled the lineout and the scrum and were in control. Tampa struggled to get into scoring position.
St. Thomas Aquinas has hardly put a foot wrong, and while we're not sure they will ultimately end the year in the top five, they deserve to get a big bump this week.
Obviously we have some changes this week.
Pendleton really looked impressive in holding off a very, very good St. Ignatius team. Okapis keeps winning. Woodlands also.
This season Panther Rugby Academy held three camps in the southeast, looking ahead to a very busy 2024.
Starting in Hendersonville, Tenn. in December, moving on to Gibsonville, NC in January, and ending with a Super Camp in Roswell, Ga. in February, these camps were geared towards player development, identification, and then selection for Tropical 7s in late March.
Rye defeated Georgetown Prep 13-0 in very wet conditions. The game was delayed an hour for lightning, but even when the lightning left the rain kept coming.
