College Women
The brackets for the USA Rugby 7s College Championships are starting to fill up and more details will come out about that, but details have already emerged about the tournament as a whole.
Places still remain at the NAI 7s, set for Salt Lake City July 22-23.
The age-grade 7s event, which welcomes clubs and select sides in a variety of brackets, with over 100 teams expected from all over the USA and from places around the world. The tournament is one of the elite events on the rugby calendar and is a crucible for talented players to achieve at a higher level.
Sixteen teams descend on Fairfield University for the Tri-State women's 7s championships this coming Saturday.
The tournament will feature 27 games over one day with four pools each with four teams.
Women - Saturday April 9th
The NCAA varsity women's league, NIRA, got their 7s season started at Harvard University Saturday with the Crimson 7s.
We're coming down to the wire in women's D1 college rugby with the spring final set for April 30 at Aveva Stadium in Houston.
