Furman University is hoping to the home of a champion, and it certainly could be that in the Men’s DII College Playoffs.

Furman, of course, is hosting a bracket in the Round of 16/quarterfinals, and Furman is also playing in that self-same bracket. And whichever team wins that bracket will play in a final four at … yes you saw where we were going with this … Furman University.

The first round of the women's DI college playoffs is done and next week's final eight for the fall knockout rounds is now confirmed.

Defending fall playoff winners UConn are back in the final eight after a tough 39-24 defeat of Princeton. Meanwhile, Northern Iowa unleashed an impressive offensive display in beating Bowling Green 62-24.
