The MVP of the National Intercollegiate Rugby Association D1 final, Dartmouth No. 8 Idia Ihensekhien is a finalist for the MA Sorensen Award as the best women's collegiate rugby player.
ATLANTA – The USA Rugby 7s Collegiate Championships (R7CC) is close to confirming all the more than 60 teams schedule to compete May 14-15 at Kennesaw State University’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
The tournament, which will have six brackets, three each for men and for women, and will be broadcast live on NBC, CNBC, and Peacock.
The R7CC 7s in Atlanta, May 14-15 is talking a lot about improving the athlete experience, and much of that has to do with some fairly basic, but important details.
Those details are things like: How do we get around? Where do we train? What medical care is there?
None of this is particular sexy, but it's enormously important to the players and teams.
The five finalists for the 2021-22 MA Sorensen Award have been named.
National Collegiate Rugby (NCR) announced the 12 teams participating in the 2022 Women’s Small College 7s National Championship in Pittsburgh, PA. The two-day tournament will take place on April 30 and May 1 at the Pittsburgh Harlequins Founder’s Field.
