We're coming into the playoff period for D1A and D1AA and at least in the D1AA the number of games is dropping down.
That's why we're listing the D1AA and D1A games together again and we'll probably finish the season that way. The biggest game is Florida at South Florida. The winner of that game will almost certainly be 2nd in the Florida CC North, and will secure a playoff spot.
It's a very active weekend this week.

Here's what happened in D1A today.
No, I Don't Think SoCal Poly (GRR #11) put to rest any discussion of whether they would be overtaken for 2nd in the California Conference, as the Mustangs beat the upstart #21 UCSB Gauchos 73-13 to secure that 2nd spot.
The California Conference decided its champion last week with Saint Mary's defeating Cal Poly in what turned out to be a close one.
This week we decide who takes 2nd with Cal Poly playing upstarts UC Santa Barbara. It's likely that the Mustangs are favored, but this has still been a good year for the Gauchos and we could well see them in the postseason in some form.
March is here and we do have more and more leagues kicking off.
The weather can be a bit dodgy at this time with snow certainly still possible in the Midwest and Northeast. But the games are on the slate.
