GRR: HS All-Stars
The North Carolina girls team controlled their own destiny throughout this past weekend’s NorthState Tournament in Greensboro, NC, winning all four games and allowing just three tries in the process.
The North Carolina Blue team beat NC Grey 57-0, Atlantis 15-7, Ohio 20-0, and Valkyries out of Georgia 29-12.
The Pacific Northwest Loggers U18s pulled off an impressive 33-25 win over the British Columbia U18s over the weekend at the DeWilde Rugby Fields in Ferndale, Wash.

The San Diego Legion Academy won the MAAC academy/select side tournament Saturday at Mount St. Mary's.
The Legion beat the Sabercats Academy 24-7 in the final of this U19 tournament.
The Legion were led by the Belmont Shore star prop Max Amasio but the Sabercats put the Legion under pressure early. Two early penalty attempts by the Sabercats went wide.
The Mid-Atlantic Academy Championships (MAAC) kicks off tomorrow at Mount St. Mary's with eight U19 boys teams, three U16 boys teams, and two U19 girls teams competing.
These are select sides from various regions as well as MLR academy sides. This is an expansion, really, of a series of games from the fall between DC Young Glory, the NCYRU, and the Ohio Aviators.
