St. Ignatius of Cleveland won the Rugby Ohio Boys HS 7s on Sunday, but despite the final score of the final it wasn’t an easy run.
The tournament was a straight bracket, with eight teams in a quarterfinal, followed by cup semifinals and consolation semifinals, and then the placement games.
The quarterfinal matchups were:

Rugby Ohio's 7s season comes to a close this coming weekend with one team in a position of heavy favorite.
But, of course, that isn't always a welcome position to be in.

OhioSt. Ignatius still leads well in Rugby Ohio’s boys 7s.
The St. Ignatius High School Wildcats claimed victory in the Ohio high School Varsity State Championship Final against St. Xavier with a final score of 26-15.
Paced by four tries from game MVP and No. 8 Maddie Hubbell, the St. Joseph's Academy Jaguars won the Girls High School State Championship title over the Highland Bees 32-21 on Saturday.
Playing at Fortess Obetz in Obetz, Ohio, the Jaguars ran out to a 20-0 but had to hold off a Highland comeback.
