Notre Dame College has all but clinched 1st in the MARC Men’s DII College conference after edging IUP 22-19 Saturday.

That put the Falcons at 5-0 with one game to play, and, coincidentally, that is against the one team that can catch them, Rowan.

Games ran to form this week at the Keystone Conference playoffs as both Western Virginia (66-0) and St. Joseph’s (42-7) won big.

There’s no doubt that Collum Magee is a big part of the Army rugby success this season, as the flanker and co-captain continues to make big tackles and test defenses.

But Saturday was a special time for him, as he scored two tries, including the game-winner over Kutztown with time running out.

Cal pounded a very strong Arizona State team to cap off a six-game sweep to win the Battle in the Bay 7s tournament on Treasure Island Sunday. Cal went 3-0 in pool play on Saturday and did the same Sunday, beating San Diego State, Cal Poly, and Arizona State all, ultimately in very convincing fashion.
