Yes, it's a team game, but it's worth taking a look at who has a special day.
Our second installment of our Hot 100 top players of the fall in D1AA rugby comes with the Deep Three.
With a ton of research from intern James Stelluti, we've got players from NCR and CRAA, as long as they're D1AA. Were calling it the Hot 100 but weve actually got about 150 players on our list right now.
This past Saturday, Sunshine 7s took place at the University of Florida, officially kicking off the first of ten automatic qualifier 7s tournaments for the 2025 Collegiate Rugby Championship premier bracket.
This is a quick one because we don't have a ton of changes.
However we do have a couple that require explanations.
First off, We probably should have had GCU below Colorado because the Buffs beat the 'Lopes in the fall.
It is enormously difficult to repeat in a major championship.
You have to deal with players thinking it's going to be easier this time around. You have to deal with the opposition putting a huge target on you. You have to deal with player turnover that could expose deficiencies you didn't know you had.
