GRR: College Men
It took us a while to post these Men's DII College 7s rankings because, really, they were very difficult.
We had to deal with a bunch of results combinations that could be interpreted several different ways. For example:
After taking his team to three major finals, Gearoid Dunbar is leaving his post as Head Coach at New Mexico Tech to take the head job at Mary Washington, leaving a vacancy at the Miners.
This coming weekend, at an event at the Washington Athletic Club in Seattle, West Point tighthead prop Larry Williams will officially be awarded the Rudy Scholz Award as the nation’s top men’s collegiate rugby player.
Now that we're done with the collegiate 7s season, let's look at some rankings, shall we?
The chase has been a long one.
Kutztown University has logged some major victories. They have won the Rugby East in 15s. Snubbed by the CRC in the early years, they played the qualifier in Las Vegas and won that. They made the CRC final twice and produced Eagles.
