Goff Rugby Report's recent obsession has been whether iron actually sharpens iron or not.
For the most part we at GRR World Headquarters believe it does—teams that have to struggle and that have to work their way through difficult conferences are better prepared for playoff rugby than those who have an easy time of it. There are exceptions, of course, but generally the adage holds.

The Fall Classic bowl game results forced us into some key decisions.
St. Thomas, Arkansas State, and Mount St. Mary's came out winners on Day Two of the CRAA Fall Classic Sunday in Spartnaburg, SC, but every one of those games required the winning team to overcome a deficit.
Charlotte, NC – The Collegiate Rugby Association of America (CRAA) is about to announce that it will unveil a CRAA All-Americans East vs. West match during next spring.
This will be a curtainraiser for the Anthem Rugby Carolina MLR team to be held in May in Charlotte, NC.
