GRR: College Men
Big changes after Tennessee's loss to Clemson. Yes, only one point, but since Tennessee beat South Carolina, USC drops down, too, while Clemson moves up.
Everyone has a shot at moving up, of course.
Rugby at Ivy League colleges has been in the news quite a bit with rivalries heating up in NIRA and also te Liberty NCR D1, but there's another Ivy program to keep an eye on—Yale.
The Yale men are now 3-0 in the Liberty DIAA Conference, having beaten Rhode Island this past weekend.
That victory put the Bulldogs atop the conference having also beaten Colgate and Columbia.
Wow, what an interesting weekend in Men's D2 college rugby.
Louisville remains atop the MAC after another convincing victory this weekend, shutting out Ohio 51-0.
The Cardinals have yet to allow a try in conference play this season, having given up just three penalty goals while scoring 196 points in three games.
Several newer players got some time against Ohio and the defensive effort was still impressive.
The Big Rivers Conference is decidedly underway with Thomas More, Marian, and, notably, Principia all winning.
Thomas More had started off with a couple of early-season, non-conference losses but won their opening conference game 52-21 over new member Rio Grande. The Saints were able to open up their attack a little bit more in this game.
